The FJD APS adds electric motor drive and high-precision positioning to a traditional seed drill. It adjusts the seeding rate as ground speed changes, starts and stops seed flow when the implement is lowered or raised, and works with ISOBUS terminals. FJD lists actual seeding-rate deviation within ±2% and seed savings of 3–5% from stopping flow at headlands.

What the FJD APS does for you

Steady Seeding Rate

The motor drives the seed metering shaft directly instead of relying on drill wheels. This helps maintain the target rate on wet ground, slopes, and at changing speeds.

Automatic Start And Stop

The system detects when the implement is raised or lowered. It starts planting when the drill reaches the ground and stops seed flow when the drill is lifted.

Quick Rate Changes

Change the seeding rate from the terminal screen. There is no need to stop for manual gear changes or calibration tests.

Precision Guidance Support

The APS can work with FJD autosteering systems for ±2.5 cm RTK guidance. It can also connect to ISOBUS-compatible navigation terminals from other brands.

Seed Monitoring Alerts

The system includes smart alerting and infrared optical seed sensing. The sensor sends a pulse signal and can detect up to 40–60 seeds per second.

Operation Data Management

The kit includes operation data management features for planting work. Contact DST for help determining how those features fit your terminal and setup.
